Call Box Out of Order

Our property management company has been notified that the call box is out of order. They are investigating damage possibly caused by lightning strike during last night's storm. Thanks for your patience.

Unit Lockout Policy

Residents: please take a moment to review the below Unit Lockout Procedures, which may come in handy should you find yourself locked out of your condo. NEW PLAZA UNIT LOCKOUT PROCEDURES Residents who are locked out of their apartments should do the following: If during normal business hours, call Thos D Walsh at 202.237.8488-- with the understanding that there is a $100 fee for lockout assistance. At the same time, the owner may also send an email to the Board at board@thenewplaza.com to see if any Board members, who have access to the basement lockbox where unit spare keys are kept, are around and available to assist. Should neither #1 or #2 result in timely assistance, the owner should call a locksmith. Please note that it is not the responsibility of Board members to assist with lockout situations. Owners should not rely on assistance from Board members for lockouts, nor should owners expect Thos D Walsh to provide assistance outside of regular business hours. Renters should first

Call Box Installation WEDNESDAY JUNE 18th

The rescheduled call box installation will take place this Wednesday, June 18.

Call Box Installation Delay

The security system vendor was on site today to install the call box but ran into a technological snafu related to the building's ISP and telephone service providers. Rather than install a partially functioning call box, the vendor decided to delay installation. The Board will announce the new installation date once it has been set. Thanks for your patience.

New Call Box Installation on Monday

A new call box for the building will be installed this coming Monday, June 9th (weather permitting). The installation is expected to be completed by the end of the day. The new call box will feature an A to Z scroll directory through which visitors may call you to request building entry. For security reasons, the Board has asked the vendor to populate the directory with unit numbers (i.e. "Unit #101") instead of using residents' actual names. Your existing building fob(s) will work with the new call box. Now is a good time to update the telephone number in the call box associated with your unit, if desired. If you'd like to change the telephone number the call box dials for your unit, please send an email to board@thenewplaza.com by Sunday evening.

Laundry Room Bill Machine Out of Order

NOTICE The laundry room bill machine is currently out of order. The laundry machine vendor, Mac Gray, was notified earlier today and estimates repair within one to two business days.

Reminder: June Condo Fees

Please log on to  http://www.thosdwalsh.com/tenants.aspx  to check your current condo fees balance. Please remit payment (either by check via mail, or online payment via checking account transfer) to Thos. D. Walsh  no later than the 15th of the month  to avoid late fees and interest charges.
