Bike Room Improvements Completed

The new and improved New Plaza Bike Room is open and ready for residents' use, effective immediately. The Condo Board is very excited about this renovation, which was performed by BicycleSpace, a local DC business. In addition to the new, high-quality racks and increased storage capacity, there is a bike pump available for use. 

The following are the Bike Room Rules, intended to ensure that all current residents are able to enjoy use of the Bike Room for its intended purpose:

NEW PLAZA BIKE ROOM RULES

The New Plaza Bike Room is a shared, common space for residents. Use of the Bike Room is a privilege provided to residents by the Condo Association, not a right. By storing your bicycle in this room, you agree to the following: 

1. The Bike Room is exclusively for the use of residents currently living in the building. Friends, relatives, visitors, and owners not currently living in the building may not store their bicycles in the Bike Room.
2. Bicycle storage is available on a first come, first serve basis. Each resident may store a maximum of one bicycle in the Bike Room.
3. Bicycles may only be locked and stored on the provided hardware. Each vertical wall rack accommodates one bicycle and each of the yellow-colored fixtures bolted to the floor accommodates two bicycles. Bicycles cannot be left in the Bike Room unless appropriately locked and stored.
4. Usage of the Bike Room is restricted to the storage of bicycles only. All other accessories, equipment, and personal items are subject to removal and disposal. 
5. All persons using the Bike Room agree to do so at their own risk. Bicycle locks should be used at all times. Neither the Condo Association nor Tilmon Properties assume responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to bicycles stored in the Bike Room. 
6. The bicycle pump is the property of New Plaza. Please do not remove it from the Bike Room. If you notice that it is broken or has been misused, please notify the Condo Board. 
7. At the discretion of the Condo Board and with reasonable notice, residents will periodically be required to remove all bicycles from the Bike Room for the purpose of cleaning the Bike Room or maintenance thereof. Bicycles not removed by the indicated deadline will be removed and donated.
8. The Condo Board reserves the right to add, modify, or remove Bike Room Rules in order to ensure maximum enjoyment of this amenity. 

BICYCLES STORED IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES—INCLUDING FREESTANDING BICYCLES—ARE SUBJECT TO REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL. Please report all issues or violations of these rules to Tilmon Properties.
