New Plaza residents,

Lisa Sutter with the Metropolitan Police Department's (MPD) Automated Traffic Enforcement Unit responded to the letter sent to her last week (click here to view) by the New Plaza Board. She is familiar with the intersection at 12th & Mass, NW and agrees a photo enforcement device would help alleviate the perpetual blocking of the box during rush hour.

Lisa explained that the contracts which will enable MPD to install new photo enforcement devices are to be presented to the City Council on July 2.
