Landscaping
In early May, J.S. Carrocio will be planting Begonias, Impatiens, and Petunias. They will be keeping an eye on the arbivoratae, which again seem to be rebelling.

Package Delivery
As you may be aware, our building recently was targeted by two separate instances of theft of packages sitting in the lobby. The Board spoke with representatives from USPS, FedEx, and UPS to discuss different package delivery locations within the building. From a cost standpoint, the Board decided that delivering packages to a designated area on the ground floor is not currently feasible; however, all three companies are willing to deliver packages directly to unit doors if specifically requested by the resident. Residents may also consider obtaining a box at UPS for added security.

Please be aware of persons attempting to enter the building without a resident. Never allow anyone to enter the building who you do not recognize. Do not be afraid to ask who the person is going to see.

Building Renovation
We hope that you are continuing to enjoy Phase 1 of the interior renovation, which included a full renovation of the building lobby and the repainting of all doors. The Board is assessing the financial feasibility of whether and when it will proceed with Phase 2 of the interior renovation. Phase 2 includes completing the painting and replacing all lights on Floors 2-7, and/or hire a contractor to scrape down and re-paint the fire escape over the front yard.

Window Repair and/or ReplacementThe Board is soliciting quotes from two companies specializing in window repair and/or replacement for historic buildings. Once selected, unit owners will have a choice whether to replace or repair their unit windows or leave the windows as-is.
