Bike Room Improvements Completed

The new and improved New Plaza Bike Room is open and ready for residents' use, effective immediately. The Condo Board is very excited about this renovation, which was performed by BicycleSpace, a local DC business. In addition to the new, high-quality racks and increased storage capacity, there is a bike pump available for use.  The following are the Bike Room Rules, intended to ensure that all current residents are able to enjoy use of the Bike Room for its intended purpose: NEW PLAZA BIKE ROOM RULES The New Plaza Bike Room is a shared, common space for residents. Use of the Bike Room is a privilege provided to residents by the Condo Association, not a right. By storing your bicycle in this room, you agree to the following:  The Bike Room is exclusively for the use of residents currently living in the building . Friends, relatives, visitors, and owners not currently living in the building may not store their bicycles in the Bike Room. Bicycle storage is available on a first come

Bike Room Construction Project

Please be advised: The bike room construction project will take place on Monday, August 13th and Tuesday, August 14th during business hours. During this time, residents may hear drilling, hammering, pounding, and other noises associated with hardware installation (especially residents on the basement and first floors). Bike Room Mold Remediation – PLEASE KEEP OUT!

Please be advised. The Bike Room area will be inaccessible until Sunday, August 11, 2012. Under no circumstances should anyone enter this space . The area has been treated with mold remediation chemicals that can be harmful if inhaled. All unclaimed bicycles and other items have been removed from the bike room, as detailed in prior communications about the bike room project. Final Reminder: Remove All Items from Bike Room

FINAL REMINDER - All bicycles and other items must be removed from the bike room by the end of the day tomorrow (Sunday, August 5th) to allow for scheduled improvements. Unclaimed bicycles will be removed and donated, and all other items will be placed in the trash area. Email the Board at board@thenewplaza.com with any questions or concerns.
