New Plaza residents, Phase II of the New Plaza interior redesign is now complete! All brush mats have been set on Floors 2-7 and the basement level; and all lighting fixtures, chair rails, and painting are completed on Floors 2-7. The only remaining to do is the replacement of glass for one of the light fixtures on Floor 4. REQUEST FOR FINAL INPUT:  if there are any unfinished aspects of the redesign that have escaped our attention, please email the Board ( board@thenewplaza.com )  BEFORE Wednesday at 5pm . The Board welcomes all feedback-- both negative AND positive-- on the redesign; we'd really like to hear your thoughts and take them into consideration for future improvements. ***Please note that any unclaimed door mats remaining in the common areas will be disposed of later this week.***

Interior Renovation Update The interior renovation project is nearly complete.  There are two outstanding tasks, both of which the Board is hoping will be completed this week or next week at the latest:  Brush Mats Georgetown Carpet has ordered the additional brush mat required to finish the project. Once it arrives, they plan to install it ASAP.   Fourth Floor Sconce The replacement piece for the 4th floor sconce is en route. Same as above -- once it arrives, the contractor will install it ASAP. JDI, our design firm, will be onsite this week to check all brush mats to ensure that they have properly set. The Board requests that residents do not put personal brush mats in the hallway, over the mats already installed in front of unit doors. This will keep our hallways neat and will maintain the integrity of the design. The brush mats are functional and will be vacuumed regularly by the cleaning staff.
