Happy holidays, New Plaza residents! Two quick reminders which bear mentioning this time of year with the increase in online ordering and package delivery. Trash Disposal Please flatten all cardboard boxes and shipping containers when disposing of them in the Trash Area. Doing so allows for more of this packaging to fit inside the recycling bins and keeps the area clutter free. Also, please remember not to leave bulk items in the Trash Area; our trash service is not contracted to remove bulk or the large items that cannot fit inside a trash bin. Package Theft At a recent community meeting, police officers from our MPD precinct shared that property thefts (especially mail and package thefts) have spiked in our neighborhood. We recommend signing up for delivery notification emails and texts so that you can pick up your packages in the lobby soon after they are delivered. We also recommend shipping any especially valuable items to your office or the post office for pick up. Cheers, New Pl
